i love flowers and this floral image below is so beautiful and such an inspiration. picture this... huge, gorgeous, bold flowers outlining the entrance and columns as if you were in a huge garden and you merely an ant...oh, i love it. maybe not completely doable but i love imagining it and maybe even trying to incorporate the idea somehow...something a little more doable and realistic is inspired by the bottom picture...i've had this idea for awhile but wasn't exactly sure how to pull it off and now i think a clothesline and pin style would work great and would look even better with some pictures hooked on as well... the balloons below that is simply a gorgeous photo...i don't know about balloons but i'm going crazy over the bold colors .....hmmmm, the imagination is definitely stirring with possibilities!!

first dance...
i soon as i heard this song i knew tony would love it too and it would be the "one". ray lamontagne has such a lovely and soulful voice and i love the playfulness and upbeat tempo of the song. after our engagement i went straight to the music first thing. luckily it happened to be the same time lamontagne came out with his album gossip in the grain. tony and i share a love for music and we simply go gaga over talented musicians! i just happened to come across this live version a few minutes ago and ooooh i got all excited and tingly inside i just had to post it immediately since i have yet to even mention our first dance song. ohhh i can't wait!!!!

the perfect centerpeices!
tony and i's love of nature, uniqueness, and art really shines through with our centerpieces. we have yet to actually complete one but our ideas rock thus far. my love of vintage bottles, candlelight, and blooms plus tony's wood idea led us to our centerpiece idea. so here it is. basically we're going to have a big piece of 2 inch thick wood and upon it will stand three textured glass bottles, and i stress the textured because they are beauties...we have already begun collecting and have several lovely family and friends helping us with the search. all of the three are different heights: tall, medium, and petite. then there will be three textured jars with three candles, each a different height. i found some great pictures that have bits and pieces of what we have in mind.
